| Day 1 - 2 | Starting in Johannesburg, make your way to the Mozambique border. If you leave in the early morning, you will be there by midday. You should be able to reach Bilene by the end of the day. Set up camp and stay at the Complexo Palmeiras and spend two nights there. | 703 | Complexo Palmeiras |
| Day 3 - 6 | After spending two relaxed days in Bilene, head north towards Morrungulo. If you would like some nice scenery to accompany your road trip, stop at the Quissico Viewpoint for lunch. Spend three nights in Morrungulo. | 442 | Morrungulo |
| Day 7 - 10 | From Morrungulo, drive to Blue Water Bay in Vilanculos. This is a fantastic area to go swimming or snokelling. If you want, take a short boat trip to Bazaruto Island. Stay here for three nights. | 179 | Vilanculos |
