Day 1-2 Drive from Johannesburg to Mokala National Park. See all sorts of wildlife in arid areas, dense woodlands, and vast open plains. Stay two nights at Motswedi Campsite. 570 Motswedi Campsite
Day 3-4 Drive from Mokala National Park to Karoo National Park. Take in the beautiful mountainous landscapes, such as on the Klipspringer Pass. Spend two nights at Karoo Rest Camp. 447 Karoo Rest Camp
Day 5-6 Drive from Karoo National Park to Camdeboo National Park. Experience the scenery at the Valley of Desolation. Participate in bird watching at the watering holes. Stay two nights at Nqweba Campsite 212 Nqweba Campsite
Day 7-8 Drive from Camdeboo National Park to Mountain Zebra National Park. Visit the quaint village of Nieu-Bethesda. See all sorts of wildlife in Mountain Zebra National Park. Stay two nights at the Mountain Zebra Rest Camp. 125 Mountain Zebra Rest Camp
Day 9-10 Drive from Mountain Zebra National Park to Addo Elephant National Park. See the Big Seven at this park, one of the only of its kind in South Africa. Stay two nights at Mvubu Campsite. Spend some time fishing on the Sundays River. 210 Mvubu Campsite
Day 11-12 Drive from Addo Elephant National Park to Baviaanskloof Wilderness Area. Make sure to drive through the many scenic mountain passes, valleys, and roads in the Baviaanskloof area. See wildlife at the Baviaanskloof Nature Reserve. Stay two nights at Makkedaat Caves. 167 Makkedaat Caves
Day 13 Drive from Baviaanskloof Wilderness Area to Gariep Dam. Do some fishing and camping as you break up the journey back to Johannesburg. Stay one night at Gariep A Forever Resort. 590 Gariep A Forever Resort
