When’s The Best Time to Visit Johannesburg?
You might be surprised to learn that Johannesburg has excellent weather year-round, although winter and summer months are very different. Many of the city’s finest restaurants and nightclubs are in Sandton, alongside five-star hotels, high-end fashion stores, and rooftop bars. Despite being located north of the CBD, Sandton is actually considered quite central, too.
Fourways, Midrand, and Waterfall City
Sandton might be the new heart of Johannesburg, but Fourways, Midrand, and Waterfall City are quickly becoming incredibly popular among Africa’s elite.
Midrand boasts several luxurious security estates that accommodate residents and tourist alike, while Fourways has direct access to the city’s freeways. Meanwhile, you can satisfy all your retail therapy needs at the Mall of Africa in Waterfall City, one of the largest malls on the African continent.
