Aluta Film Festival

The eighth Aluta Film Festival will be a four-day cinema event held at venues around Kimberley, South Africa on the 25th till 28th May 2011.

An important aspect of the Aluta Film Festival is to be a repository for the stories of people of African ancestry worldwide as well as stories from the developing world. Through this festival, Aluta’s desire has been to open the eyes of audiences to a discourse not commonly seen at South African Hollywood infested cinemas or on our television screens.
