Cape Town has turned into winter wonderland over the past month. The city has welcomed the much-needed rainfall after the drought. Even better, it has been snowing in some towns, just outside of the Central Business District.

Ceres

The fruit growing region of Ceres is nestled in the Breede Valley, through the foothills of the Hex River Mountains.  Ceres is just about an hour outside of Cape Town and the ideal road trip for the entire family. The small town of Tulbagh is becoming a popular travel destination for South Africans.  The town is situated in the Land van Waveren basin, in the Cape Winelands.
