If you are visiting Cape Town, in South Africa, for just 48 hours, there are still plenty of things that you can do. Cape Town is an amazing city, that offers you various alternatives. The following are some of the top things you can see while in this South African city.
Just about an hour’s drive from the capital, you can visit some of the most amazing local vineyards. The most known are Moreson, Haute Cabriere and La Petite Ferme. You can hire a car from Cape Town, in order to arrange your private tours as you please. But you can also take the tram (the Franschhoek Wine Tram), which will take you on a tour around various vineyards in the areas. Stellenbosch is also another great region to visit with best-known vineyards of Kanonkop and Tokara.
This is a museum that actually gives a great review of the history of the multi racial area, that was actually destroyed during Apartheid and its inhabitants were forcibly removes between 1960 and 1970. Many of the tours in the city begin with this special museum, in order to explain the history of the area and the laws.

These 52,8000 sq km botanical gardens offer you free guided tours and walk in order to see some of the most amazing and colourful plants. You can also take a walk at the Tree Canopy Walkway (known also as the Boomslang), which is a timber and curvaceous steel bridge, that rises through the trees, where you can have some of the most amazing views in the gardens.
