Day 2 - 3 | The route continues north towards Clanwilliam, a historic town located along the slopes of the Cederberg Mountains. It is famous for its Rooibos tea; a quick stop at the Rooibos Teahouse is a must-visit for tea lovers. If you are a hiker, there are a multitude of trails in the Cederberg Mountains where you can see stunning geological formations and San rock art, some dating back to the Stone Ages. Day 4 - 5 | From Clanwilliam, drive across the Cederberg, an unforgettable drive through three stunning mountain passes: the Pakhuis Pass, Hoek Se Berg, and Kouberg Pass. You’ll also pass the stunning Bushman’s Kloof Wilderness Reserve. Continue across the Cederberg and the barren plains; look out for Tafelberg, the lesser-known twin of Cape Town’s Table Mountain. Stay here for two nights. | 59 | Cederberg |
