Activities Kms Stay
Day 1 Start in Johannesburg and find a route to Maseru. The route will take you through long and quiet stretches of road through the Free State. You may pass by the Vaal River and small towns such as Reitz, Petrus Steyn, and Senekal. You might spot a few cattle and ostriches grazing on farms. At the Maseru Bridge Border, you will need to get your passport stamped on each side. Check in at the Avani Hotel in Maseru and spend the night there. 418 Avani Hotel, Maseru
Day 2 From the hotel, journey through the mountain regions, take in the scenic drive, and make your way to Semonkong Lodge. From there, drive to Maletsunyane Falls, about 30 minutes from the lodge, and one of the longest drop waterfalls in Africa. This spot is ideal for a quiet, scenic hike. Once you get back, for lunch at the lodge, make your way back to the Maseru Hotel for the night. 118 Semonkong Lodge
Day 3 Leave Maseru via the Maseru Bridge crossing and make your way back to Johannesburg. For a scenic drive, go via Ficksburg to Clarens and Golden Gate National Park. 418 Johannesburg
