The Esona boutique winery is a family owned wine farm, neatly tucked away along the Breede River in the Robertson Wine Valley. The farm has a unique, intimate and homely atmosphere, with a spectacular view and rich history. Each bottle is uniquely crafted and produced from the farms’ single vineyards. Wine tastings are on offer and guests are able to experience tastings in the underground kuip, by candlelight and a warm, cosy fire. River Gold

River Gold is a wine farm with a difference. Located along the Breede River in Robertson, the farm has a modern charm and sophisticated twist coupled with beautiful views of the Robertson Wine Valley and a range of memorable wines. All their wines are handcrafted, from harvesting to fermentation. The current selection is distinct and finely blended and their Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon is considered to be one of the best in the region. Weltevrede Wine Farm

 The Weltevrede wine estate is located a stone throw away from Bonnievale in Robertson and has been a working, producing farm since 1933. Owned and managed by the Jonker family, the estate is well-known for its inspiring wines, especially their award-winning Blanc de Blanc Cap Classique. Phillip Jonker is the fourth generation family winemaker of Weltevrede and is recognised as a Chardonnay specialist. His Chardonnay has been internationally recognised and enjoyed travellers all over the world. Overall, Weltevrede is best known for producing world-class Chardonnay. The Bon Courage Wine Estate

Bon Courage is home to some of South Africa’s finest wines. The estate has been owned and managed by the Bruwer family since 1927, this adds a rich heritage and tradition to the wines made and enjoyed by local and international travellers. Three rivers run through the Bon Courage Wine estate, enhancing and diversifying the soil types found on the estate. Rietvallei Wine Estate

Rietvallei is considered to be one of South Africa’s oldest family-owned wine farms. The farm was established in 1864 by the Burger family and has been running ever since.  Guests are welcomed to have a drink in the old family home, while exploring the wall of remembrance, tracing the Burger family lineage. The Rietvallei’s famous 1908 Muscadel is a must as well as their award-winning Sauvignon Blanc (2017).
